Have your say day

On Tuesday 26th June some pupils from Years 5 & 6 (Lillie, Lucas, Ben & Annabel) were invited to Gregynog Hall to take part in a range of workshops (learning, health, forest school, wellbeing), with the opportunity to have their say on a range of issues. The day was a great success and will hopefully be repeated again next year.

Wizard of Oz

We were treated to a wonderful performance of Wizard of Oz by the pupils on Thursday 12th July in the village hall. The acting and singing was superb – well done and thankyou to everyone for all the hard work putting on this show.

On Thursday 5th July Mr Hardway arranged for the pupils in his class to Skype call the Natural History Museum in the Seychelles! This was a great experience for the pupils who were shown around the museum and were given the opportunity to ask the curator a range of questions. This included one about the weather – we found out that the temperature was hotter over here than there!

We will no longer be collecting tin cans after this term. Thankyou to all of you who have supported the Iron Works Queen bust project and brought some in.

Year 6 pupils have attended their chosen high schools to experience what it will be like in September. We wish them all the very best as they begin the next exciting stage of their education. We will miss you all - Pob lwc!
